Registering a Trip After the Fact

Forgot to turn on GPS? Or want to manually add a trip? No problem. In this article, you’ll learn how to add a trip afterward:

In the mobile app
On the Gekko website

1. Add a Trip Manually in the Mobile App

Open the Trips app
Tap the plus (+) icon to add a new trip
Tap the purple “stop” icon – you’ll be taken directly to the manual input screen
Fill in all the trip details and save your trip

2. Add Trips in Your Online Account

Log in at www.getgekko.com
Click on ‘Trips’
Click ‘New’
Fill in all the trip details and click ‘Save trip’

Tip: Premium users can use automatic calculation of the distance traveled.
