Yes, if you send an iDEAL payment link and your customer pays it, the payment will be reflected immediately in your Gekko account. The invoice status will automatically change from “sent” to “paid.” You don’t need to take any manual steps.
This is very helpful for communication with your customer. They can pay directly using the link (for example, via their smartphone), and you’ll instantly see the confirmation. This reduces the number of interactions needed to get an invoice paid. Which is convenient for everyone involved.
PLEASE NOTE: If you’re also using Gekko’s bank module, you no longer need to update your invoice status manually based on bank transactions. Gekko does this for you. You can simply categorize all grouped payouts from Rootline and Mollie as “Other” (see also special bank transactions), and you don’t need to take any further action.
