Would you like to connect your calendar to your Gekko account using the mobile Gekko Hours app? To do so, first download the Gekko Hours app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.

At this time, it is only possible to link a Gmail or Apple calendar to the Gekko Hours app.

Tip: Make sure you're using the same Gekko account and email address across both the mobile apps and the Gekko website. If you're using multiple accounts, your data won't be synced across platforms.

 In the Gekko Hours App

After downloading the app and logging into your Gekko account, you will see the option to link your calendar.

  1. Tap "Link calendar" to view your locally saved calendars.
  2. Select the calendar(s) you want to link to the Gekko Hours app and choose your desired start date.
  3. Finally, tap the green button at the bottom right of your screen. On Android, tap "Import".
  4. Once saved, your local calendar will be linked to your Gekko Hours app.

It’s important to link your imported hours to a client project. You can do this by tapping on "Day overview" in the app.

Find your imported hours in the day overview. Unlinked hours are shown in grey. To assign them to a client/project, tap on the grey block. You’ll then be able to select a client and project for the imported hours.

You can also add a description to provide more detail.

After saving, your hours will be properly linked to a customer and fully processed within your Gekko account.
These hours will also be visible on the Gekko website and in other Gekko apps.
