Track hours with the Gekko Hours app
With our mobile app, you can easily track your hours as you work. The Gekko Hours app is available for download in both the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store.
Working from your computer? No problem. You can also log your hours via the Hours page in your online Gekko account.
Import hours into your Gekko invoice
The hours you’ve recorded in Gekko can be easily added to your invoice and sent directly to your clients.
There are three ways to do this:
- Go to the Invoices page, click "New invoice", and then click "Import" within the invoice.
- Navigate to the "Hours" tab and select the hours you want to invoice.
Grouping or not grouping your hours
In the top-right corner of the pop-up, you can choose whether to display your hours "per project" or "not grouped". You have three options:
- "All" – Combine all hours into a single line on the invoice.
- "Group by project" – Hours are grouped per project, with the project name or reference shown.
- "Do not group" – Every individual time entry will appear as a separate line on the invoice.
Invoicing Hours from the Hours Page
Go to the Hours page on the website of Gekko. When selecting a customer or a project in the left bar you get a specific overview of the hours saved for the selected customer/project. By selecting a customer/project, a button on the top right will appear saying 'Invoice hours'.
When clicking on 'Invoice hours', you will be taken to a new invoice where your selection of hours will get imported.
Please note: you will be invoicing the hours for the client currently selected in your hours overview.
