How to send invoices through Whatsapp (or other communication channels)

With the Gekko Invoicing App, you can now share invoices in a different way than via Gekko’s servers.

For example, you can send an invoice through WhatsApp. It’s very easy to do:
When you're on the Send Invoice screen, choose the "Apps" option. Then, by tapping the green send button in the bottom right corner, you can share the invoice using any app installed on your phone.
This allows you to send the invoice to a contact via WhatsApp, or even through your own email app.

The same applies to payment requests. If you select "Add iDeal payment link" and your Mollie account is set up, you can easily attach a payment link. It’s just as simple as sending a Tikkie.


Please note: When you send an invoice via an app (such as WhatsApp), Gekko cannot track whether the invoice was actually delivered.
While this usually isn’t a major issue, it does mean you won’t have proof through Gekko that the invoice was successfully sent and received.
