As an entrepreneur, you are legally required to keep your financial records.
The retention period for your financial administration is legally set at 7 years. However, certain business data must be kept for 10 years. The Dutch Tax Authority may decide to audit your financial records from 7 years ago, so make sure your data is stored properly.
For more information on which records must be kept for 7 or 10 years, and for whom this is relevant, please read the Gekko wiki: Retention of financial data.
