How secure is your data on Gekko? The short answer: very secure!
Built-in Backups
Gekko uses the latest standards in internet security. While no system is completely immune to issues (even the U.S. intelligence agencies experience data losses), we have implemented multiple backup systems. These ensure that backups are created regularly in case anything happens to your data.
Server Locations
All servers used by Gekko to store data are located within the European Union. We do not use servers in other continents, such as the United States.
Legal Compliance
Gekko fully complies with all relevant Laws and Regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), known as the AVG in Dutch. You always have control over your own data and can Delete your account at any time.
User Agreement
